My father was born in India to a long line of  colonials. I've now traced our family history back to British, Irish, Dutch, and Portuguese families some of whom lived in India for over 200 years.

Family names from India I'm researching include Breton (Calcutta), Godfrey (Calcutta), Murray (Delhi), Van Spall (Dutch - Cochin), Vieyra (Portugese - Cochin), and Watling (Calcutta).
